About

pix_about_us.JPGTomoko creates the synchronized art project with her glass sculpture and photographs. This project has the following process: Tomoko designs the photograph images with her glass sculpture involved as art props. Then she makes the glass sculpture(s) for the photograph image. Then she collaborates with the photographer as a model for the design. Tomoko does her own hair and make up and wardrobe for the photo shoot.

This project’s theme is “a story”. Born and raised in Japan, Tomoko gained her inspiration for art from Japanese pop culture, which often synchronized with Western/Far East (Japan) culture influences, therefore “Anything goes!”

Tomoko is interested in whole story-like scene with herself and her glass pieces. She’d love people to feel/think about their own story with photographs and glass pieces...together or alone, however they like.
